How to survive a venomous snake bite

"The key to survival is to remain calm "

a) The simplest is to get to the hospital as soon as possible. Calmly walk to the car, calmly get in the car, calmly drive to the hospital and calmly wait.

Fact: By becoming agitated, your heart beats faster and you increase the flow of blood to the affected area and increase the amount of toxin able to find its way into your tissues.

b) Eventhough many told to kill the snake and bring it with you, do not do this as it waste your precious time to live. Doesnt matter whether or not the snake bite causes effect to you or not.

c) Call the ambulance, if you are far away from the hospital. Remember to stay standing, stay hydrated and stay calm.

d) For shallow snakebite, let the initial wound naturally bleed out. If the bite is deep enough to cause a blood spurt, apply pressure to the wound and call emergency.

e) Do not suck out the toxins!

f) Do not tie a piece of clothing around the infected part to stop bleeding tightly.

g) Use a contriction band instead.

h) Do not let the pain overcome your reason; you are the smart one, not the snake’s venom.

i) Prevention: Never approach.

j) Do not put any ice on the bite. or cold substance.

k) Tie a bandage 2-4 inches above the bite( loose enough to fit one finger in.)

1) SAWYER extractor. Its a big syringe. to take out all sorts of venoms from bite marks. leave it sucked, for 2 minutes, then throw it away. then do it again. lay down, try and keep the bite, below the heart.
